There are numerous terms and acronyms used in the service that aren’t immediately obvious, including:

GDX	Government Data Exchange - This project and the wider programme of work
GRO	General Registry Office
HMPO	HM Passport Office
LEN	Life Event Notification (a service from HMPO)
LEV	Life Event Verification (a service from HMPO)
OGD	Other Government Department
Supplier	An upstream department or service GDX consumes events and data from (for example HMPO)
